Welcome to the Western Medical Research Conference!
It is with immense excitement that I welcome you as Chair for WAFMR to the Western Medical Research Conference on January 15-17, 2026 in beautiful Carmel, CA. As we look to gather for the upcoming meeting, I am thrilled to join you in celebrating groundbreaking research, mentoring, and the collaborative spirit that defines our medical community.
Our program aims to challenge and inspire as we share the latest innovations and ideas, and forge connections that will help shape the future of medical research. “Bridging Discovery for a Healthier Future” is vital, now more than ever. From state-of-the-art speakers, dynamic workshops and networking, to plenty of opportunities to spark discussions with oral research presentations, the meeting promises to be thought-provoking and vibrant.
We are committed to fostering an environment where every voice is heard and every step forward is celebrated, in a strong partnership between Western AFMR (American Federation for Medical Research) and Western SPR (Society for Pediatric Research). We can meet once again to learn, collaborate, and inspire one another.
