Current Position: Dr. Rothenberg is an Associate Professor of Cardiology at the University of Cincinnati Veterans Administration Medical Center.
Education: She received BS and MS from State University of New York at Albany, and MD from University of Texas Southwestern Medical School
Clinical Interest: Noninvasive Cardiology
Research Interest: Type II myocardial infarction in the critically ill patient

Dr. Rothenberg is an Associate Professor of Cardiology at the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Currently, her research focus is the treatment of high risk critically ill patients with cardiac troponin elevations. Dr. Rothenberg teaches clinical cardiology fellows at the Veterans Hospital Medical Center affiliated with the University, is the Director of the Journal Club curriculum, and oversees the Cardiovascular Research Program at the VAMC.
She is the AFMR President-Elect and has served as Chair of the Midwest Section of the American Federation for Medical Research, is a member of the Central Society for Clinical and Translational Research, and Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
