Current Position: Dr. Armand Krikorian is an Associate Professor of Endocrinology and Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at the University of Illinois at Chicago/Advocate Christ Medical Center
Education: He received his MD from the American University of Beirut and completed his Internal Medicine residency and fellowship training in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at University Hospitals of Cleveland/Case Western Reserve University
Clinical Interest: Diabetes and pituitary diseases
Research Interest: Diabetes and medical education

Current AFMR position: President

Dr. Krikorian is the Internal Medicine residency program director for the University of Illinois at Chicago/ Advocate Christ Medical Center campus. He serves as member of the Program Planning Committee of the Association of Program Directors of Internal Medicine. Prior to his tenure, he served as Associate Program Director for Internal Medicine at Case Western Reserve University and as the Associate Medical Director for the UH Accountable Care Organization in Cleveland, Ohio. He has participated in the ACCORD study as a co-principal investigator.

Dr. Krikorian received his medical degree from the American University of Beirut. He then completed his residency training and fellowship in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism at Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Krikorian is currently the President of the AFMR and Past-chair for the Midwest Section of the AFMR.
