Current Position: Research Associate at the Institute for Clinical and Transnational Research at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY
Education: I have received my medical degree from Carol Davila University of Medicine in Bucharest, Romania and after general medicine training, I pursued further molecular endocrinology, transnational medicine and clinical research expertise at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.
Clinical Interest: Outcomes improvement strategies in treating diabetes and cardiovascular disease
Research Interest: My research explores biomarkers and neural networks outcome models that aim to help towards a personalized treatment approach and improving patient care through utilizing novel technology. My transnational interests are focused on clamps studies in humans with the goal to find out mechanisms that triggers diabetes, its complications and find out possible cure pathways.
