Accreditation Learning Objectives
This activity is designed for those involved in biomedical and patient-oriented clinical, translational and laboratory research. Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
  • Examine and evaluate current information pertaining to health, patient care, research discoveries, clinical guidelines that may be applied to practice
  • Critically evaluate the basic discoveries and the translational process
  • Identify research methods and practices used by different disciplines to be applied to one’s individual practice
  • Present, discuss, and defend original research through respective interactions with peers and mentors
  • Identify tools and resources to be used for medical research funding advocacy on behalf of the medical and research communities
  • Create relationships and interact with the medical research community
